Hey there, thanks for checking out this challenge. This job is for 10 animated gifs in total which will be used as included content for the product.
* 32×32 resolution
* 60 – 100ms frame delay is preferred
* Smooth and continuous loop / nothing jerky
* Must be your original art
VERY IMPORTANT: Use high contrast colors, low contrast colors don’t display well on the LEDs. To avoid the low contrast issue, it’s best to use a black background. Here’s some examples of high contrast images that display well and low contrast images that don’t display well.
The animations should have a smooth & continuous loop, nothing jerky. Outside of this, we don’t have any specific requirements on the style & theme of the animations, you’re free to create. But please do review the animations below that were selected in the past to get a feel of what we’re looking for.
To be considered, please email me a sample animated gif meeting the above guidelines along with a description of the type of animations you plan to do for the rest.
Selected artists will receive one PIXEL: LED ART unit in exchange for your work. This contest is open to all countries and I will pay for international shipping. Note that PIXEL is compatible with Android devices (2.3.3 and above) and Windows PCs only.
